Word To Herbert
I just got an email with the subject line "Good morning, white man. Wakey wakey." It was one of those spam mails, the ones that either say "hi" and talk to you like they know you, or the one with the string of words like "feces break the moment to gather twigs at selfish peaks incontestable helmet banana." But this one was very eery. Funny, but kind of strange. Particularly the "wakey wakey" party. Sounds like your brother standing over you, in the morning, after he just glued your face to the pillow or shaving creamed your whole grill and put your hand in ice water so you peed in your bed. (I was abused.) Speaking of which, I caught a decent episode of "Malcolm in the Middle" (never watched much of it), and the two brothers were at each other for real for real, trying to prank each other hard. But what's-his-face, the main character, he's going through some serious hormonal transformations, and his voice sounds like Kermit the Frog. It's weird. Like your man who's coming out of the funny voice he got from sucking on helium balloons at the school's dance, but he's not quite at normal voice yet, nah mean?

Speaking of funny voices, you HAVE TO call (212) 777-FILM and listen to the man after punching in the correct numbers for "Ong Bak: Thai Warrior." He gets all CRAZY with it, like he's about to break a block of ice! The Mrs. and I had a good laugh for a minute.

I gave you all a heads up in Miami, but I won't be there this year. Not yet. The world will soon know of "The Brain" and his plan for world domination, but not yet. (How do you like my new a.k.a.? If you saw the cartoon, or happened to see the medallions on Fulton Street, you'll see the resemblance and understand where the new tag is coming from.) If I were to go down to Miami at this point, I would HAVE to have an eating itinerary, and my report back to you would be full of digestion details. Miami's got a huge Latin American contingent, and I got a huge appetite for arroz con pork and lime wedges, feel me?

This Thursday, I'm set up for a taxes meeting. PLEASE keep your fingers crossed for me. Please say Hail Marys, Shemahs, Hare Krishnahs, dance around with chickens, whatever you do for good luck. Thank you.
