Word To Herbert
I'm still a little queasy from last night. Francis Poku is off to Ghana for a month to be treated like a prince (literally), or as he puts it, to "clear my head." You know we had to paint the town red, and yellow, and green, one last time before he's off to warmer climates. And we couldn't do it without Prince A La Freaky, man about town, Brooklyn's one-time most in-demand exotic dancer (no lie). After a delicious plate of pork chops at Cafeteria, we were off to Cain to pick up a check and drink with Babylon system's finest. Of course we set off the dance floor, had too much to drink, and didn't get too bed early enough.

I'm paying for it now.

My advice to all of you: Do not see "Fahrenheit 9/11" (if you haven't already). It's pretty scary. The Saudis own this country, the Bush's have sold us to them, innocent Iraqi children are being blown to bits, Osama is still running free, and still your fellow Americans wrote "George W. Bush" on their ballots and slipped it in the box. You, your family, your friends, your loved ones--It doesn't matter. The Bin Ladens have too much money for our government to care about your life, or the lives of other human beings (except their own, of course).

Onto brighter days ...

Freedom last week was off the chain. Connection Unlimited's Richy Rich had his birthday party blast-off, and it was crazy. We apologize for any lines, but if you can just be patient and wait like 10 minutes, you'll get in. It's only a matter of maximum capacity (and a balanced male-female ratio). Big up to Marlon B. for the appearance, Dallas, and especially Marc Smooth. Thanks for rolling through, bro. Much appreciated. Cosi ripped down the set as usual, and so did I (but that's a given), with a juicy rewind on the "Satisfy Her" track by I Wayne. And we can't forget a late-night "This Is It" run by Kenny Loggins.

What party you know rocks Kenny Loggins and Ciara in the same set, AND gets away with it AND gets just as much "oooooooohs" and "yeahs" for both?

Social Club on Saturday was properly crushed. I had them crazy. I'm also on again this Tuesday at Cain, officially in rotation, sharing the slot with Crooked, one of NYC's finest right now, for real for real. Of course, tonight is Umbrella, but y'all are obviously not ready for that. Dominicans partying way too hard for you.
