1. Last Exit to Brooklyn, Hubert Selby Jr. Reading this book taught me how to REALLY be a writer. He throws everything conventional into the fan and doesn't even stay to watch it get all torn up. He just goes for his, I love that style of writing.

2. This is a tough one. Of all time? Do the Right Thing comes to mind. But there's so few movies in this world that I actually like, that of the ones I do like, many could be my favorite. Lets just say Do the Right Thing. Where the Buffalo Roam goes hard too.

3. Spanish Flowers, Houston Texas gets it at the moment. Its not the best restaurant in the world, no, but it is currently my favorite.

4. Amsterdam hands down. There's your safe area with friendly diverse neighbors. I don't know anyplace else like it.

5. I like how Ray Tamarra lives. Black Dog Bone. I don't know who else.
