I was waiting for part two!! Thanks for the insight. Your words can also be applied to, really any industry. As a publisher, there's some stuff that I know instinctively but I know deep down if I had a solid foundation of industry knowledge I could possibly achieve goals faster, implement programs and run projects to completion in a more effective manner. It's not corny - knowledge IS power, for real.

Cooooosiign!! These days I'm constantly thinking to myself....I wish I would of taken piano lessons back when Moms was trying to make me go. I picked piano and bass up by ear...but just for the foundation on music theory. The way I see it...music is cycling back to live instrumentation..playin' isht instead of sampling...the best thing producers can be doin right now is learnin an instrument...really studying the music.
