Yes she's back and better than ever. I had the privilege of attending her sample listening party for radio and dj's here in Chicago. It was a nice event and Syleena Johnson is a cool, classy, laid-back, sista-girl. She talked about her label and the concept for Chapter 4, which I thought was very creative (coming behind her other 3 chapters). Her father, Syl Johnson, was there and it was an honor meeting him...Cool cat with some great stories. He ran down some things we had no idea about...living legend he is.

Speaking of her father...she sampled a couple of his songs and they both come off hard hitting (lyrics and production). I won't spoil it, but I was in awe. But from what I heard on her new CD, Syleena Johnson has been putting in some serious work. I've always been a fan. I love her new single It Is True, but there are a few other songs that I absolutely adore. So I'm looking forward to her new release.

And she still looks good too.
