The ideal candidate has extensive experience and knowledge of many different areas of photography: portraiture, fashion, reportage, and still-life.

This position serves as the right hand man/woman to the Photo Director but also works independently on many shoots on their own- from conception, through production, execution and post.

Photo research skills are required.

Calm and logical problem solving skills are beneficial in this position.

Creative and independent thinking are valued attributes within our department and are attributes that the ideal candidate would possess.

The ideal candidate would be an organized, pro-active and responsible person who is passionate about photography and wants to be a Photo Director in the future.

This position involved managerial responsibilities as well. Vibe's Photo Department believes in mentoring both interns and less experienced employees within the Photo Department, and candidates should be interested in sharing their knowledge with others.

Vibe covers a wide range of subject matter from politics, to music and
fashion- candidates should be interested in topics that influence, inspire and/or effect urban culture.
