Arts in the Parks & Reading in the Parks - Production Assistants (2)
Duties: CPF is looking for two energetic individuals to implement Readings in the Parks and Arts in the Parks programs in the field. Responsibilities include coordinating with Parks & Recreation personnel on the day of the event, on-site audience development and master of ceremonies duties. Interns will be responsible for arriving at the site early and transporting supplies (for example posters, children’s books, sound equipment, and banners). The interns will also write a program evaluation at the close of summer, summarizing their experience and evaluating the program’s success.

Requirements: The successful Production Assistant is motivated, energetic, responsible, enjoys working outdoors and has initiative and follow through. Needs positive attitude and active sense of adventure. Must be able to work independently and trouble shoot with confidence. Knowledge of New York City a plus. Previous experience in program administration and an interest in grass roots organizing a plus. New York State driver’s license required. Production Assistants make a salary of $10-12/hour.
