Ok,
now i can think straight. We lost our DB during the board upgrade or a better way to put it is that we never even got a chance to archive it because it died in the archiving process. We'll try one more time today to see if we can get the back up for our host. They sent us a back up yesterday but it didn't have anything in it. Odd because the back up came from an entirely different machine.

On the bright side we have our own server now.

Glad to see the site up and running again. I have a suggestion: since we're beginning to see some new labels coming through via websites, how about some news on these new artists on those labels? The internet is becoming the way the indie label was in the early '80s...breaking new music and so forth. That may take some time, but I wanted to get a couple of pennies on the table.
And you know I have to say...I'm out of here like a Riddick Bowe comeback!

Anyways, my suggestion would be more media! You have the pictures covered; now let’s get some video footage of those events and some interviews! The more interaction the better. Also, an anual crusade event would be cool as hell too! And posibly some songs with the people you interview that are on the up and coming so you can hear somthing while reading it. likkle tings. Oh yeah, cant seem to upload to make an avitar, fix dat.

The Midnight Maurader had a good idea...video footage. Maybe even video footage of some up and coming artist MAKING a video. Or an up-and-coming artist being profiled as he or she practices making songs for a second demo (the newbies usually aren't a blip on the radar yet), the contract signing, and there could be a follow-through for his or her whole career (I don't think that is done on the web just yet).
