Job Description: Universal Music Group & Video Distribution (UMVD) is currently seeking a Director of Artist Development for the Marketing department in the Universal City, CA location.

This position is responsible for the Marketing set-up, implementation and follow-through of new releases for a specified label group. The person will be the primary UMVD contact for the label as it relates to dissemination of information throughout UMVD about new releases, and will be instrumental in creating marketing campaigns to be executed by ADR�s and in some cases, sales force, as well as partner with the label to create alternative consumer marketing awareness.

Job Requirements: Good communication skills with people at all levels of the company, good public speaking and presentation skills, ability to multi-task and manage a wide range of priorities. Strong leadership and management skills to manage projects as well as people.
