really? i saw it and LOVED it. like got giddy over it cause it was the best thig i had ever seen. I'm going to see it again tonight. and maybe again next week. i know several people who on their third veiwing. i can't get enough of it.

the other four were sent to Japan, and I guess black thought was out there and copped it. the jacket was made in Bed-stuy and ended coming back home to Bed-stuy! how crazy is that?
but I'm always proud of the hood I grew up in, and the block party made me feel even more proud to born and raised here. real talk.

This is sad and it must be and epidemic bc my bf boss told her the exact same thing. "That she was having complaints bc her pants were too tight"...smh. How are you called into the office for a bs excuse like that? No, correction, "YOU" think my pants are to tight not the white people in the office.
There were only two African Americans in the entire office her judgmental, paranoid, petrified, stuck in another world boss, and my friend. She was on Temp to perm and two weeks later she was let go...they never gave her a reason but from SISTER TO SISTER...Her boss probably thought she would make her look bad...*shrugs shoulders*Side note- It was kind of sad to hear bc my friend was happy and enjoyed her job at first especially w/ her boss being black. The boss started giving her overtime, she thought she could move up in the company, and would receive some guidence from an older woman...somewhere along the line her REAL self must have came out or the boss peeped something she didn’t like in her...who knows...
ok....i need a voice of reason to convince not to get involved w/ the work crush! pls! help me! pls....good lord.....he's making it hard...i've even figured out a loophole....somebody talk me out of it! my good for nothing friends are encouraging it!
