I hate to be the pessimist, BUT... it's not always best to mix friends. Some friends are there for one purpose and other friends serve a different purpose. Sometimes those purposes just aren't meant to be mingled. Just like you might have one girl that's hella cool, but y'all only roll to cultural events together because she's so cerebral, but you and another girl GET DOWN at industry events and grimey house parties... bringing those two chicks together could spell D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R...

You shouldn't feel bad, period. Your vacation. Your dough. Your fun. It should be spent the way that you will most enjoy it. Not everyone is ideal to travel with. Tell her that you didn't think she'd be interested and that there's always a next time...

I've come back to the office for the first time in a week and have 250 emails to go through...but have only opened 40. I HAVE DONE NOTHING TODAY. I guess I'm still on vacation.

i took a picture this weekend. i accept that i am pale. damn.
technically, i could have left work an hour ago. i am waiting to go to the gym just so i can peep the new trainer. all muscles and very sessie. good energy and very friendly too.

The Wire isn't cancelled. it comes back in the fall. they are filming in B-more right now... it's just a delay... wooo-sah. wooo-sah.

You know you get a grace period right. Gotta have a couple days before the vacay to get ready, and a few days after to fall back into the groove. Well, at least that's how it happens for me.

sidebar: to all the fitness heads ((pageing Tar, Bill)). i've hit a plateau. i was doing 30 minutes hardcore and the scale was moving. i got 5lbs off and now it's stopped. my clothes are looser so i can't complain, but i'm afraid nothing else is going to happen. i revved up my workout to 40 minutes, then 45, now 60.... and i've stopped doing the thing every day. i run, i do the elliptical, the crosstrainer and i mix it all together so it equals out to 45-60 minutes. NO PROGRESS 8 days later. i am eating well (though i did have some donought holes today and i could feel that when i worked out. i'll do better tomorrow). the scale is not going up, but it's not going down either. i am REALLY frustrated.
also, my SO was a trainer. he told me to stop doing crunches and focus on cardio and weights for everything else. his theory is that you have to have virtually no tummy fat to get your stomach cut so there is no point in doing it until i "come down" (cause gym ppl. never say lose weight or get smaller), does this make sense to ya'll? it goes against everything i've ever been told.
Ok first I'd like to introduce you to the msbrg diet plan...patent pending. The premise of my plan is "it could have been worse". I never feel guilty about what I eat...because...it could have been worse. Instead of the 1/4 quesidilla that I just consumed with salsa, sour cream, and quacamole...I could have consumed a big mac with a super sized french fry and pepsi. By comparison what I actually had was extremely healthy!!
I think the diet plan has great potential to help suffering woman all over the world. The exercise plan to follow also goes under the same guise. When you start to feel bad about you work out...look around the gym for the oldest, scrawniest, senior citizen you can find. Then ask yourself how did your workout compare to his/hers? Feel better already don't you!!!

Yea the Wire isn't cancelled...I see that nigga "Cuttie" on the 2 train all the time!!..He live right around my way..He be trying to hide and shit on the train..(Non-groupie like but) I ran up on that nigga like.."Yo sun the Wire comming back on or what?"..He started talking and couldn't shut up..told me mad shit about HBO, his part on the show now and stuff I can't even remember..But can't wait for the show to come back on!
saw Dave Chapelle's block party yesterday....could have waited for it to go on DVD...not that funny to me, but I'm glad he did it for sure...you could feel his love for music and BK for sure!

2--SEEING DEKA'S JACKET ON BLACK THOUGHT AND SEEING MS. A (SHADESNYC)
