but I think I can keep shooting music videos to help recoup the cost, but that flat screen would look official in the crib. really? somebody told me not to shoot weddings because of the high level of stress and responsibilty. but I was like hmmmmm I can shoot edit and design a custom menu for 2,000. not bad for one days work. but I'm trying to shoot a few weddings and split. don't want that to be my hustle.

New York is just taking a nap. Damn, we done started a 25 year nonstop global phenomenon in music, and now we are pimping other cities for the audience. Have no fear, we will return after a brief hiatus, fresh with new ideas. The gangster rappers will eliminate themselves in due time.... in due time.... NY is the centerpiece of global interest...

I think other than Nas coming out with a classic and another round of 50, I can't see anyone from NYC making big noise.

But that's what's beautiful about music there is so much out there that you can listen to what YOU feel is "entertaining" to you and block out the bullshit........

That's part of it.
The ear of just standing around and performing is near over. There are some (Nas, Rakim, Scarface) that can do that and I have nothing against it because I grew up on it.
But the musical lover/listener of today wants to be entertained both musically and visually. And using D4L as an example yet again, I know nothing on that song other than the hook and the occasional "Candy Girl", but to accuse them of cooning is absurd.
They are simply entertainers. Understand???
On saturday I called a certain UNC alum to see how she was doing andif she was feeling better and to congratualte her on UNC beating Duke.......and not one reply as to "i'm ok", "thanks they did it" "thanks for caring"

Just heard that like 4,000 SAT tests were scored improperly. It's a real small percent of overall tests taken, but still. There's no room for error with these kinds of tests.
