Kouns: My issue today is about content...not about exclusion, which is kind of where the other thread was going. I'm not knocking any newbies or whoever for their thread topic submission...I'm just saying that the balance is off. Social Issue posts are down...AND...there is clearly a lack of interest by the Demigogs which has also created a void (did anyone else hear the echo) around here. I have had to nibble on some crow lately because of that thread tho

As long as you aren't on elimidate with some New York nuccas in Hollywood... If it's a serious dinner party you should go to your new roster. Then you get to test the compatibility. Your ex's are ex'ed for a reason. If you un'x them you will be getting some rebound lovin....
if you wear your hair straight--like permed straight or texturized straight, how do you keep it looking good if you workout all the time? is it possible?

wrap it before you work out... keep it wrapped while you shower, cover with scarf, shower cap (re-wrap before showering if necessary)...

Yeah right!!! Good Luck with that one. Sorry but I got the cooliest of cooley hair and that shit dont work!!! your hair will never dry and if it does it will be drying in sweat......Stinky Head.

This is exactly right. Wrap your hair in a satin scarf before you work out. And, if your head sweats (some people don't have this problem - lucky bastards!) don't comb out your wrap until you've been out of the shower for a little while and your scalp is dry.

Also, were a headband/sweatband when you work out. We only have a few sweatglands on our heads and they're around the edges.

hmmm. i'm not convinced. i don't think i will be able to work out on my lunch hour if i alter my hair... sh*t!

No, I work out at the gym. I just put my hair in a ponytail, then when I go in I put on the sweatband. After i'm don't I take it off, then walk out side and it worked out fine.
I press my hair so that was a big concern, but it works.

A friend of mine called me out because i told her my favorite band is Coldplay.Is she wrong to call me out for liking something different?
The Knicks are going to wind up with he first pick in the draft and may not be able to afford to sign him if they don't get rid of high priced players.

Uh... yeah. That was wrong. Different is good. Don't let anyone make you feel bad because you don't fit in with the "norm". BTW, Coldplay isn't some obscure band... and it's not really that "different" for you to like them.

so i'm watching CNN on the treadmill. they are doing in-depth reports about how there are less ppl. at mardi gras in N.O. than previos years. does this shock anyone at all? i mean, did they think the tons upon tons of people who usually descend upon the city would go this year to a WRECKED city? 
i get reporting on it, but the angle they are taking is
