Thanks! Eating is difficult for me. Not really a big eater nor a very healty one. Although, I have been supplementing my diet with juicing (veggies & fruits) - so that is one way I plan to continue getting the nutrients. I do alot of walking and live on the 5th floor - walk up and office is on 3rd floor - walk up - so i get my share of stairs each day - lol. Thanks for all of your suggestions and advice.

no prob girlie...i have a bunch of them, but the set that i've been using lately is the hollywood trainer...the host is a black chick named jeanette jenkins...her voice is a bit squeaky and annoying (esp. once the burn kicks in!), but the exercises are good and you don't have to buy any extra equipment to do the different exercies...even comes w/ a book w/ a proposed diet plan, etc.....it has about 5 diff tapes/dvds to it...one for yoga, pilates, cardio sculpt, butt & thigh blast, & ab blast...also, you don't need to have a large amount of space to do her exercises...i just clear a spot in front of my television in the living room....
my leg weights are very light....about a lb each, but it makes a difference when you're going up and down stairs repeatedly or walking a lot....

I think I could aid in an assisted suicide of a terminally ill patient.(I watched Million Dollar Baby again this weekend)
it was a pleasantly good, peaceful and memorable weekend. One I think i'll look back years from now and remember.

naw girl, i HATED that movie too! i thought it was so terrible and overdramatic...if it was bad and could happen, it happened! i left the theater pissed off....i don't mind tear jerkers, but goddamn....
painted my kitchen and bathroom. i don't like the color the bathroom ended up. going to home depot to switch it to a less intense shade of blue.
Guess I really shouldn't throw a hissy fit about going back to work. I mean afterall, I did have a 3-day weekend.

...but like dreaded said the light weights plus doing the stairs would help...its such a beautiful day 2day....should get up to 81...thank goodness, tired of the cold fronts sweeping thru thanks 2 u guys in the north

what do you get instead. i like the size of the iPod earphones beacsue i have really small ears. everything else is uncomfortable. i need better sound though!

Writing for The Miami Herald, Mary Sanchez, an opinions-page columnist for The Kansas City Star, says that the word "racist" often is misused by the people who use it on others.
Far too often, simply posing an honest question garners this assault, questions that some in society have deemed too "sensitive" to ask, Sanchez writes. And, she says, having an in-depth conversation also becomes out of the question.
Racism, as defined by Sanchez, is about power and money, and people are not racist if they simply dislike you. The definition of racism, Sanchez writes in her opinions article, is using a race or ethnicity-based belief to hurt someone economically. If someone is denied a job, a bank loan or a promotion because of their race, that is racism. Everything else, Sanchez writes, is simply bias or prejudice. And we all do that.
Racism is economic. It is about hurting someone in a tangible, bankable way. Which is also why, in years past, white people had a far greater chance of being racist than people of color. They simply were more likely to be in powerful enough positions to leverage their hatred."
Decent definition I think...except of course it is missing the word intentional...
