The Balcony of Your Life
"Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not going anywhere relationships.
Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention. Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill, and which ones are going downhill?
! When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know or appreciate you?
The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth
around you... the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in
the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of your life."

It is very possible to need someone and not want them....the only problem is that when you let them know that you need them, they sometimes perceive that as wanting them...And God forbid that they want you AND think they need you...what a tangled web we weave!

I define needs as something that if not gotten will cause death. No person NEEDS another person, unless it is a child to its mother...and even that relationship is not a necessity postpartum.
Sorry...when dealing with another person...the accurate word is want.

Don't know exactly what the person who posed the question meant by need...
When I said need, I meant more along the terms of needing someone's help for something...not like "needing someone" to survive...that's a null and void...never put too much into man...Man can never give you what you truly need.

I'm like a fiend. I'm looking for one I can post. |
i love puzzles...never heard of that particular type...let me know please, mind distractors are greatly needed ..thanks in advance |
Dime I've put a sample below. Definition is from Wikipedia... Sudoko sometimes spelled Su Doku, is a logic-based placement puzzle, also known as Number Place in the United States. The aim of the canonical puzzle is to enter a numerical digit from 1 through 9 in each cell of a 9×9 grid made up of 3×3 subgrids (called "regions"), starting with various digits given in some cells (the "givens"). Each row, column, and region must contain only one instance of each numeral. Completing the puzzle requires patience and logical ability. Although first published in a U. S. puzzle magazine in 1979, Sudoku initially caught on in Japan in 1986 and attained international popularity in 2005. |

http://www.websudoku.comThere are about a bazillion puzzles there varying in difficulty from easy to EVIL. Plus you can do them online or print them out...and they even have a timer so you can track your progress If any of you crusaders were ever into those logic puzzles (you know with the grid and the clues) then this will be right up your alley. |

that WAS my line in the sand. My family has this little thing where you ask "can i speak freely?" and if the other person says yes, you may say whatever's on your mind and the other person can't react strongly since you gave permission.
it's usually to tell someone that their man is fucking up or the dress they're wearing is unflattering, etc. i talked to her last week about some deep ish (the reason i need church all of the sudden) and when she asked to speak freely, i thought she was going to give up her thoughts on that subject. i was so very wrong.

Shades,
Just another embarassment like the Jesus walk video. but this time it's even worst because the director
Michel Gondry is well known for doing ground breaking music videos. I was totally shocked when I saw the video. It was Gondry's worst video ever. I felt really bad because there was no creative chemistry between Gondry and West like Gondry and Bjork. and if you seen Bjork videos you know what I'm taking about. sorry for late response. It sucked because Kanye was really happy to have Gondry do a video for him and the result wasn't what he expected.

Did you see the MTV Making the Video for this one?
Okay basically the concept was sposed to be that Kanye is a homeless dad that used to be a businessman and at night the Macy's night watchman (Adam Levine) lets the family sneak in and sleep in the department store. Why the furniture and everything moves around I'm not sure but I'm with Deka -- there was no Gondry/West chemistry.

The nurse said she doesn't think my Aunt will make it til Friday. I am glad, because she was really bad this week. What I don't understand is why, if I am glad (I really am), do I keep having to fight down tears?
I let her listen to India on my ipod yesterday, which she enjoyed. I looked at her straining to bob her head to the music. She has no kids, all her siblings passed (she's my great aunt), and her husband died over almost 30 years ago. She is a real trooper, inviting death to take her away, impatiently telling us "I never thought it would take this long".
Yesterday as I sat and watched her trying so hard to remain in good spirits, I wondered about what
really matters. What I came up with? Nothing much. I feel so humbled.
And I miss my ex.
